Blogosphere is getting more and more competitive. Numerous blogs are coming up everyday and giving competition to established bloggers. Some of them are really good and have already become popular in few months.
Surely, this thing has forced some established bloggers to rethink their strategy and work out something new to remain alive. Although, it is not possible that these new bloggers will erase every tits and bits of seasoned bloggers, but they still cannot afford to take it lightly and relax. Some of them have already started working on new innovative methods to get maximum visitors and retain loyalty of their first time visitors.
But for those who still are not aware of what you can do, here are 5 tips that can you help to survive bit easily than your competitors in this hardly battled blogosphere.
- Good quality content- No doubt, your content will always remain the most important key to your success. You just cannot neglect it. There is lot of debate in the blogosphere over which is more effective to succeed- content or promotion but let’s not talk about it here. Writing quality content that offers visitors something new and fresh can help you survive.
- Low advertising rates- Private ad sales have been one of the most prominent income sources for many bloggers but rising bloggers are offering good exposure at a cheaper price. So, you need to think over your ad rates that offers maximum productivity. Having a separate page for stats will help.
- Well worked out design- Design of the blog should be such that is easy to navigate and at the same time, offers everything on the first page. Design the theme in such a way that visitors come to see major things above the fold. This may include popular posts, subscription options and your profile.
- Intense promotion- A blogger can only survive if he is really serious about promoting his blog. Use every method you can think about so that people start remembering that there is a blogger with blog ABCD in the blogosphere.
- Ready to help- Personal interaction and helping others are the best way to get noticed. If you get a mail where somebody has asked something or some information, reply him first with the best possible answer. This will ensure that you will get word of mouth popularity.
As I have said, blogosphere has become very competitive in last one year and to succeed, you have to make sure you do not leave any stone unturned. Any lapses on your part and your bright blogging career may diminish somewhere on WEB 2.0.
