Blogging Objectives for the Year 2010

Great persons all over the world have always said about the goals and objectives. Everyone has advised to make clear their goals so that you can solely concentrate on them. Same applies to blogging too guys. You need to be very unambiguous about them as they are what matters for you.

Two months have already passed in 2010 and it’s high time you make a list of them. I just completed this task a week ago because I wanted to see how my blog is going in the initial days. Now that it is clear that I am doing a good work with the blog although the traffic still needs to be increased at good pace as compared what it is doing now, I decided to write this post to tell everyone.

This is what I have decided for the upcoming 10 months for BloggersPassion.

1. Alexa Rank- Break into top 100,000. At the moment, it is hovering around 800,000.

2. Page Rank- Current PR of this blog is 0 but I am hoping to get one in the next update.

3. Facebook Fan Box- Reach 100 fans by the end of the year.

4. Search Engine Traffic- It is too low and will try to take it to 40% of my total traffic.

5. RSS subscribers- Reach 300 by the end of the year.

For the design and other aspects, I have some strategies in mind but I would not like to discuss them at the moment as I have to work on them to fine tune and then present it to the readers.

And now when to money and monetization, frankly speaking, at the moment, I am not earning even a single penny from this blog but I am not too perturbed as this is not my primary motive. I have a day job in my hand which earns enough for me. Everything that I earn from here will be a bonus.

As I have already told that I am a part time blogger, I cannot dedicate entire time for blog. For some people, these targets might be easily achievable but I am going step by step.
