Add Professionalism to Your Blog
I am very keenly observing a trend in the blogosphere these days. There is a tremendous rise in the number of blogs in this niche and everyone is determined to give the news and tips before than others. There is a cut throat competition and a blogger needs much more than just good content to attract visitors and keep them returning again and again.
One of the factors that help a blogger very much to stay ahead from others is the blogger’s professionalism. Or I should rather say the blog’s professionalism. Today, I will like to take your attention towards the professionalism and how you can show it.
BLOG WITH WORDPRESS
This is the first thing you should apply. A free blog at Blogspot will neither attract visitors not search engines. Spend some money to buy hosting and domain name. These are very cheap these days. Learning and understanding the basics of WordPress is not difficult. Make yourself aware of the basic aspects up to the extent that you can explain others. And start blogging. A WordPress blog is a must for successful blogging career.
CHOOSE A PROFESSIONAL THEME
A professional theme is basically a premium theme. You get it for some dollars and in return, you have complete control over the theme. If you are short of cash, there is nothing to get discouraged about. There are many themes that are equal to premium themes and they come for FREE!!! A live example is my blog, BloggersPassion. I have got some compliments about this theme and this one is for free.
MIND YOUR LANGUAGE
Sorry, if that sounded rude
, but your way of writing and communicating with visitors matters a lot. Never ever disrespect your visitors, even if they are coming hard at you. The interaction should be warm and should be kept within limitations. An angry visitor would be a very big setback as he would spread wrong words which are not going to help your blog.

Great advice, one of the first things that turns me off from a new blog is a poorly put together blog. The design, functionality and professionalism.
I still however would concentrate more on producing high quality content on a regular basis. Also, when starting out blogging, every time you make some money from it, put it back into your blog and continually making it better.

There are some good advice there. Having a professional theme, authentic content, maintaining a reader-friendly tone can work towards the success of a blog and can help it stand in the crowd!

I agree, in fact that’s why I’ve all but stopped reading some of the big bloggers– because their themes have gotten so overloaded with ads and widgets that I’ve lost interest in trying to sift through all the junk to get to their posts.
I do love the theme on bloggerspassion (almost as much as I love the one I use on my site.) I think when it comes to blogs (as well as fashion) “plain” is the new “black”
Thanks for the great post.

Yes Aziz is right, making money is important but should follow ethics of the blogging. Even the look of the blog is important, so should follow a professional theme. Nice post.
