Are You Taking the Planned Approach to Blogging?
Traditional blogging is now a thing of past. What just used to be your online space for writing dairy and personal feelings is now a handsome source of raking money. And it is not that new bloggers can’t make money. Everybody can do the same. What blogosphere want from you are new ideas, new way of presentation and a planned approach.
What exactly is planned approach?
Since day one of school, we all have been taught that planning is important and necessary in every phase of life. Decide what you want, make a plan, work on it and you will succeed. A great man said- PLAN YOUR WORK, WORK ON YOUR PLAN AND YOUR PLAN WILL WORK.
When it comes to blogging, a planned approach is must. You just cannot think of doing things randomly and expect good results. From selecting the niche to the hosting provider, from domain name to the outlay of blog; everything must be planned keeping in mind the long term results. Your mind must be absolutely clear of the various steps and activities.
For instance, you can follow the below plan in the starting days.
1) Why I exactly want to start a blog? What’s the main purpose?
2) What should be the blogging platform, domain name and hosting provider?
3) What kind of theme I should choose for the blog?
4) How will I bring traffic to the blog? On what lines do I have to work?
5) How will I get new ideas for content? What will be my writing style?
6) How will I be using social networking sites?
The list is long and varies according to your personal needs and goals.
HAVE A CLEAR HEAD
This sounds easy but it is not. When you are blogging, there are thousands of thoughts kicking inside your brain on the various aspects. Control them and bring them to the front wisely. You can also take help of various e-books that claim to make you a better blogger. They cost a bit but are worth reading. Also, you can read the success stories of famous bloggers which are inspiring and can bring you on the right track.
Conclusion
You need to plan for a successful blogging career. For this, I will advise you to keep a diary by your side and jot down everything in that. Your post ideas, future changes to blog, any new concept and idea of a contest. Lastly, if you have not started planning, do it right now or you might lag behind from your competitor.

after reading 31 days to build a better blog, i never realized how important planning things were. Once i read it, i quickly downloaded a copy of Mozilla Sunbird and have now set up what i am to do for blogging, every day of the week. I have so much more time now that i have done this.
