How to Put Your Money in Blogging in India?

In my last post, we discussed that how much money you need to start blogging in India. Taking all aspects into count and making the estimating on the average amount, we reached an amount of Rs. 8000.00. Let us now look how you should start with your investment.

Step 1- Make sure you have round the clock internet connection. It is one of the most basic things for blogging. You can not blog efficiently until and unless you do not have any time internet available. And do not hesitate to invest in internet connection. As I said in my last post, it is not costly. This is one thing you need to make sure.

Step-2- For a successful blogging career, your own domain name with hosting is must. I started with BlogSpot domain and hosting. Then I bought a domain but still continued with BlogSpot. But later I realized that own domain and hosting is must as it helps you become a true professional. So, do invest here also.

Step 3- There are thousands of free themes available and some of them are really good. So, if you spare cash with you, you can buy a premium theme straightaway. But if you feel you are short of cash, wait for few months, build your blog, earn some cash and then put it in the theme.

For the advertisement, I do not think it is very necessary to advertise your blog because dedicated commenting and few guest posts can get you the same amount of visitors. Also, these two things will also help you make relations which advertising would not do. So, you can skip the advertising part in your blogging lifetime.

In the end, if you want to get your blog’s theme customized; it is entirely your choice. Theme customization is expensive so you can postpone it for some later time. Once you see that you are getting good traffic, comments and reviews about your blog and have firm views that blogging was not a wrong decision and the theme is not what you wanted; get it customized. Make the changes, get the ad spots right place and make sure you keep the navigation easy for visitors.

In India, making a living through blogging is a big thing and kudos to guys like Amit and Harsh who have introduces a revolutionary concept of blogging to India.

Nice post. I have read the previous post also.. continue this write-up.

I have one comment. I think before starting posting at least 1 design customization is needed. That is logo. You need to put a logo of your blog and if you can do yourself, it will be nice also to put a custom header image.

To do this small customization, you do not need a designer, you can do it yourself. There are available free logo making software online by which you can try to create a logo
