The Quality of Your Content is Decreasing, Dude!!
The content is the most important aspect of blogging. No matter how much you advertise or design your blog, if content is not good, everything else is just a waste. A new blogger writes lot of articles in its initial days to get more and more of visitors. Once he start getting regular visits, he becomes little complacent and as a result, the post quality and content start decreasing. But how to know whether people have stopped liking your posts?
In my experience with blogging till date, I have observed that the comments on the post are directly proportional to the quality of your post. If you are writing good, informative posts regularly, the comments will keep coming. But if you relax and stop paying attention to the content quality, you won’t get comments. And it’s just not limited to comments. It may happen that few of those decide not to visit your blog again. You do not want to loose your potential visitors. So, concentrate on your content.
In the beginning, I used to get 5-6 comments per post. But since last few days, the comments have reduced drastically. They have almost disappeared from the blog. I thought and thought about it and realized that I am not concentrating on the content of my blog. The quality has really come down and this is what is hurting the comments. So, to cover it up, I am ready with some very high quality posts in the near future which will be published very soon.
So, here is the verdict. If you are getting same number of visitors but the comments have decreased, its time you give a hard thought to the content. Revive it and the results will come.
Are the comments decreasing on your blog? Is it because of traffic or the content quality? Please share your thoughts below.

True but its not like that all the time. I am studying my stats and there’s an interesting thing that I found. Most comments are on posts that are a bit controversial but most traffic are on posts that are detailed, meaning they are long. Even though comments are good, its still the fact that you need to target your audience well and make sure you are marketing your blog to the proper people.

Tushar, It’s impossible for bloggers – even for those big names in the blogosphere – to consistently churn out top class content every single day. My take on that would be, to have two or three big very useful posts every month and keep adding filler posts in between. I have reduced my online efforts big time as I do not have the time to post regular good content every other day or so.

right Ajith. TIME is the only issue for most of the bloggers and for part time bloggers like us, lot of thinking goes in writing one post, leave alone the quality posts….
