How does Blogging Make Money?

You may have read hundreds and thousands of articles on this topic written by various experts and established bloggers. For once, I too thought the same. But due to my stubbornness (I am sorry for this); this post is here, right in front of you. I just wanted to share my thoughts on this with you.

Firstly, I want to say that blogging is the best way of making handsome amount of money considering the fact that this profession is part time. I think so because this incorporates many other ways of online money making like selling ad spaces, using Adsense, affiliate marketing and referrals. Although, these things tale lot of time to reap benefits for you, when benefit starts, it is good and will continue if you keep up the good work.

Many of you must be aware of it but I am still recalling the steps that can help you in making money through blogging.

1. Choose a niche- Select a niche that interests you and you think you have enough knowledge to share it with your readers.
2. Make a list of at least 20 posts- Before starting your blog, pen down at least 20 topics which you can write. You must have enough material for one month before you launch your blog.
3. Start a blog with your own domain & hosting- Buy a domain name and hosting for your blog.  There are lot of options available when you decide to select your hosting plans but I will recommend you going with WebHostingWorld. They have the best and cheapest plan available. Keep the design and theme of blog simple and attractive.
4. Advertise your blog- If you have money for paid advertising; there is no better option than this. Otherwise, spread your blog URL in forums as your signature, comment on other blogs of same niche and try to write some guest posts. Do not expect to get huge traffic in one month. Be patient and keep working on your blog.
5. Use Adsense- Never ever put ads on your blog as soon as it is live. It will leave a bad impression on the new visitors. When it is one month old, use only Adsense and no other ads. Lots of banner ads will untidy the design of your blog. Slowly, start displaying other ads when you start getting regular traffic.
6. Keep writing content- Every effort you have taken to get maximum monetary benefits from your blog will go in vain if you are not posting good content. Just remember the golden rule- “CONTENT IS KING”. But remember to do enough promotion because if you do not promote, nobody will ever come to know about the high quality content of your blog.
7. Collect cash- That’s it. Just follow the above steps sincerely, put in your maximum effort and see your account balance increasing. I firmly believe that for a blogger starting from scratch, he can earn his first $100 in six months. And then the cash will never stop flowing, only if, you never stop writing.

These are the steps that can take a new blogger to the heights of the success. All he needs to do is to work on these steps without expecting short term results. I am too following the same steps and I know I can be a successful blogger (of course, your support is mandatory).
