My Take on Bloggers Interview Series

by Anil Agarwal

This is BizOppers

I started an interview series a month back at BloggersPassion and interviewed some of my favourite bloggers like Puneet Jain, Ajith, Sushant, Lax and Saksham. I tried to frame the questions in such a way that my readers get to know these superb guys apart from blogging.

A few days after I started the series, I got mixed response regarding the interviews. Some said it was a good effort while many said that these interviews are just lame and a way of getting free traffic without taking any real pain to write the post. I never thought that these interviews will be a hot topic for discussion and I love this. I want to be a part of this and this post is just my opinion on interviews which again might raise some voices.

Interview thumb My Take on Bloggers Interview Series 1. It’s the bloggers choice- some might say that this is a good way to get free traffic. You post an interview and ask the blogger to tweet it which get you traffic. This is not true. Answering the questions is entirely blogger’s choice. He is not forced to answer them or tweet it. It’s in the good motion that we are exchanging the interviews.

2. Interviews are cool & inspirational- I do not know how you feel when you read interview of other bloggers but I have always loved reading interview of those people whom I read regularly. It gives me great encouragement when I read their story and it gives me confidence that I can get success in this huge & huge blogosphere.

3. It is just not a way of getting back links- Some people say that the sole purpose of interviews is to get back links from high PR blogs. Entirely wrong dude. If this was the only motive, making a comment would have been enough.

I love doing interviews and giving interviews and would like to hear your views on this topic that is currently hot in the blogosphere.
