To be very frank Google is going to sink traditional SEO tips in the ocean in next few months. I know you will be shocked to hear that there is no such scope now in SEO. I am watching people on internet using all the old techniques and massively building backlinks on low page rank and bad authority websites. Currently they are still getting good rank in Google after doing so much link building, but there trust is really worst. Google is giving free hand to webmasters only to next half year and going to penalize many websites involved in low quality SEO techniques. As a blogger I have stopped my SEO techniques (directory submission, forum link building, article submission, bookmarking) now. The only reason is that I am waiting that what Google is going to do with others. The SEO tips I am following these days are really high quality and affective in any condition. I have named these techniques as stealth SEO.
Really Original Content:
Google is saying from past decades that he wants to show only good high quality articles in his search. Have a look on the heading of this paragraph “Really Original Content”, I am using the word “really”; do you know why? Let me explain it. These days’ bloggers including famous bloggers are just following the internet giants; they are just rewriting articles of others and making those articles of their own.
But Google doesn’t like to show millions of websites for 1 topic in search results, because according to Google only one website is enough to show article for 1 topic. You should create real original content, and that content should not be on any other website. If you are not doing this then start it from today, I promise you that you will see a dramatic change in your traffic in positive sense. If your author rank is high, then you can get good position in Google search. To increase your author rank, you should update your blog 3 to 4 times a day and your content should be high quality.
No Link Building:
Shocked? I am sure that you have never heard about stopping link building. But let me first clear you the concept of backlinks. Hyperlinks are not something that people are creating by their self; it’s something Google introduced as a trust and vote factor. If a person is giving link to another website, it means that the other website’s content is trustworthy. But today low quality websites are just building backlinks and ranking higher.
Matt cutts also suggest sharing content on social media to get some links, but it doesn’t means that you are just making links to give good rank to low quality and copied content. If you are having original high quality content, then people will provide link to your website naturally, because nobody feels hesitation in giving link to a trustworthy website or blog. Before June 2013 I wouldn’t recommend you to do old SEO techniques, if you get penalized by Google then get ready to destroy your blog and start a new website.
Increase Your Author Rank:
Author rank is just like Pagerank and is a trust factor. It’s not something new, author rank exist from past 7 years but Google is now rate website’s author rank from 1 to 10 in near future. PageRank was the trust factor of a page and every page of a blog has it’s own PageRank, but authority or author rank of you blog depends upon you content quality and niche. If you are writing articles related to SEO and ranking well in Google in articles related to SEO, then suddenly you started publishing articles on motor cars then you can’t get good rank in Google in this niche. If your authority is high then you just need some backlinks to support your article, because the article by itself will get good rank in search engines; because of your authority.
To increase your author rank, you have to publish original high quality content. Don’t search articles from google and rewrite them, create your own content with a new title. Also if you are facing problems in finding articles, then best option is to discuss issues related to your blog. I hope these new techniques are really helpful for you. Google is trying to provide people original high quality content content on it’s search engine. As a blogger it’s our responsibility to give good user experience and it will make Google search more credible. If all the bloggers doing the same thing everyday, and publishing same content on their web then we as a webmaster don’t have any right to expect good from Google. I would personally recommend you to just focus on quality, and then see the miracle of quality.

I have to agree. Things have changed and I am grateful for that, because for too long, highly talented, informative, quality writers were getting missed below link building untrustworthy monsters lol.

You thinks that Google is a baby and everybody can make it fool.. If somebody is copying your original content, then maybe he can rank better from you for 1 or 2 days and after that you wouldn’t see his web on first page. Google notices the timing of posting and the article posted first, will be on top surely.
I also agree that links from related and high quality websites are still very effective. Also in my every article, I am asking webmasters to provide original high quality content. Nobody should try to cheat the technology giant (Google).

You Aditi, with original content SEO surely works, but if you are having original content, then i don’t think that you need SEO. I am running my own blog and without any massive SEO, I am successfully running my blog and in just 4 months I am on 72k in alexa ranking. I am following the above listed techniques only. Trust me if you are just updating your blog 5 to 10 times a day with original high quality content then Google by itself will give you traffic.
it is useful information but i read lots of articles daily & I did not listen this type strategy on other blog. are you sure @Maddy this type information (No Link Building and Not Create Rewrite articles). I have seen many articles on other web they are rewrite and there website is gong on well. For Exp : Entertainment websites, Movies Websites, Technology Website and more..
I know rahul, that rewriting content is really beneficial, but just bear in mind one thing that if you are following someone, then you can beat that website. You can’t be on top by following this strategy. If you want to be market leader then you should have your own strength and your content should be different completely from others.
