Agree with me or not, 90% of the bloggers have started blogging for money. Some admit this fact, others try to hide it but this is the truth. I too started blogging 3 years ago with the same motive but soon realized it is not that easy. You have to be very genuine and sincere. Be honest in what you do and the primary motive, the cold hard cash, will find its way to your bank account.
There are many ways to make money and Adsense and other PPC networks are the bloggers favorite. Adsense is the king till date and has a track record for authenticity and a name like Google behind it. Many bloggers put ads as soon as they create blog in order to get huge money. But this is not easy and it also leaves a bad impression of the blog in the visitor’s mind who might even vow never to visit you again.
So, when should you monetize?
The opinions may differ on this but I personally feel that the best time to start putting ads is once your blog is at least a month old. You are getting visitors around 10-20 per day; you have put all the effort in promoting it. Now its time to monetize your blog in any way you want- banner ads, Adsense, affiliate links.
What you should be careful about?
Do not over monetize the blog. Some ads would look good but too many would spoil the mood and the look of the blog which you certainly do not want. Place the ads wisely and blend them well with your blog’s design and theme.
Also take care that if you are using 125 x 125 ads in your blog, never ever display them empty. If you do not have enough ads, create some manual ads announcing something or use you referral banners there. An empty ad space is a very big negative in blogging.
Making money from blogging is not impossible but it is difficult. Keep your eyes on the goal and the day you start getting cheques, they will keep coming till the day you put your effort.

the right time to make money is when your blog actually could make it.
if you put ad there and there, but your blog didn’t make any or just a little.. it just waste the space and time.
when your blog make little money, your gonna put the ads more because people always think
more ads = more money
and that totally wrong, when your blog make good money, even with small numbers of ads, so you are now at perfect time to monetize your blog.

Even i too very much care about adding ad campaigns in my blog. I always focused on not disturbing my visitors in any mean.. pop up ads are totally annoying..

The best way is to just do it! Monetize immediately. After all its good because you would realize that money from blog is hard if you don’t have traffic. It gives you a good realization of what to expect hence you’ll work hard getting traffic.

How to place ads in your blog is an important thing. There should not be any ads as they make loose interest in reading the post and they should be placed in a right place with right colors. One should not be too commercial in their posts.
