Twitter just introduced new design , both twitter.com and on mobile phones by updating theofficial application and mobile.twitter.com , and this time not talking about four strokes , none of that, it is a complete redesign, one of the most radical have been since the platform was launched in 2006.
The first thing that stands out in this new version of Twitter is that the column with the tools menu moves to the left and add to it the drawer to post tweets . Secondly, everything revolves around four tabs, similar to what had so far with some changes and additions. This explains the function of each people’s own Twitter:
- Home : Is where you see the tweets of people you have chosen to follow. It’s your personal collection of Tweets, with the latest news, comment or information sources that interest you. It is now easier and quicker to see the information that interests you most.Fast access to your favorite features on the left side. The photos, videos and conversations are included directly in the tweets so you can see the full story at a glance.Now everything in your home page appear consistently on your computer, iPhone and Android phones.
- Connect : This is where you will see who is following you, who you mentioned, who made a retweet or bookmarked one of your Tweets.
- Discover : Discover The page gives you a constant source of useful and entertaining, created for you. When you use Discover, you’ll see results that reflect your interests based on your current location, you are following and what is happening in the world .The more you use Twitter, better content appears in Discover, selected for you.
- Account : The new profile section puts your interests first. Others may send Tweets directly and see your playlists, bookmarks, fans, photos and more. Your Account is where you can be aware of your direct message conversations.
As usual, this new design will be implemented progressively over the coming weeks. In the case of the mobile version, I have made to all users, you can try accessing it from your mobile browser to mobile.twitter.com or downloading the new version of the official client forsmartphones .
So important movement, which is already generating controversy among users, which clearly seek to increase the activity within the service and simplify where possible to facilitate the entry of new users.
