Few days ago, I came to know about the Windows Live Writer. I downloaded it but due to some network error, I could not run it. I completely forget about it. But yesterday, I saw it somewhere in my Downloads folder. I decided to check it out and had just one word to say after using it- AWESOME.
Windows Live Writer is a tool developed by the Windows team. It is a fabulous development and makes blogging much easier than before. When you first run it, you have to fill in the details of your blog like your blogging platform, your blog URL. Windows Live Writer will ask you these details for the first time only so that it can save the details about your blog. So, when you will start writing the blog posts next time, you will be writing in your blog environment. The theme and design of the blog will be right in front of you and it will be much easy to write.
Live Writer is a WYSIWYG blogging platform. It will appear in the same way in your blog the way you formatted it while writing. I found it very useful for many reasons.
- It is very easy to format the post as you want it. You can make the font bold, change its colour, and do whatever you want.
- The best reason for using Live Writer is that it makes addition of images very easy. I have always found putting images in my blog very tedious task because I used to give them different dimensions and they would appear in different dimension in blog which spoils the look. But this tool has made image addition very convenient for me.
If you are a blogger, I would recommend you to use this tool regularly to write posts and format them. Windows team has done a major development in the blogging field and I am really thankful to them.

This is one tool which I highly recommend to all the bloggers and also use special key F7 to explore more features of it.. People might miss it…

I was using Posterous quite a bit of late too. Both are better than the default Wordpress interface.
Early days but Live Writer does look good. Will be using it more.
