You Can Earn in Blogosphere

There are millions and millions of blogs on internet. Majority of them are free and rest are paid with their own hosting and domains. And if we talk about successful blogs, I think less than 10% of the all the blogs are popular and attract regular and targeted traffic. What I exactly mean is- they are making money.

But this does not mean that making money from blogs is impossible for the rest of the bloggers. It is difficult but not impossible. Let me make it straight. Set your goals high but be realistic. As a new blogger, you can earn some extra cash but you cannot think of living your life on this. For this you need high quality original posts, 1 year of time for your blog to be popular and of course, the reader base. All three things are interrelated and if you set one thing right, the other will make sure it does not go wrong.

There are many ways to earn through internet-

1. PPC ads- From your new blog, you can earn money only through PPC ad networks like Adsense, Bidvertiser and others. For this you need substantial amount of traffic because not everyone who will be visiting your blog will be clicking on these ads. The ratio of number of visitors and the people from them who will click ads is very less. But nothing to worry about, everyone’s story is same in the beginning.
2. Advertise other blogs- Once people start recognizing your blog and start to visit it daily, you can think of advertising other blogs on your site. Create a advertise page and show them the true stats of your site and lastly, be reasonable with the price. This option could only be available once your blog is 3-4 months old, getting reasonable amount of targeted traffic (30-40 visits/day) and the ad spot is easily visible to others.
3. Affiliate links- This option may not be that profitable but there is no harm in using it as you will be spending nothing. Become affiliates of 1-2 popular products and show their banners on your blog with your affiliate id. Even if a single person decides to buy through you, it will be pure profit. But do not clutter your blog with these banners only. Keep in mind the placing of the banners and the overall design and theme of the blog.

There are endless opportunities to earn money on internet. You have to be creative, hardworking and patient to make an extra income out of it and wait for the right moment to grasp it. I have always believed that making $200-$500 is not difficult to earn. And in India, this is a huge amount if you consider it a part time job.
