4 SEO Services To Steer Clear Of On Fiverr

Sometimes in trying to save a buck, quality can be severely compromised. Such is the case with low budget and or low cost SEO services which are abundant on the web. This is where the old adage of “if it sounds too good to be true, is most likely is” applies ten fold.

If you spend a good deal of time online, by now you’ve probably heard of Fiverr, the site dedicated to things people will do for five dollars. Let me first say, I love Fiverr and use it myself regularly for a variety of things but none of those things have to do with SEO.

On Fiverr.com, you’ll find many listings with titles like; Google first page rankings, 1000 backlinks in 24 hours, automated links and more. Stay clear of these with a ten foot pole, unless you want low quality and a bad SEO outcome.

One of the best things about Fiverr is that, you can get almost everything for $5, for this reason Fiverr became such a huge hit in no time. At the same time, Fiverr is also fully loaded with unwanted/non-safe SEO practices such as building backlinks offer for $5, getting in Google top results etc.

Most of the WordPress beginners fall into the trap of getting thousands of backlinks for $5. But if you think for a second, you will understand, it won’t give you any good results, instead Google penalizes your sites if you build bad backlinks or use blackhat SEO techniques. So please avoid all such spammy practices using Fiverr or any other website that promises to give you top results on Google for $5.

Below we discuss four SEO services which you should steer clear of on Fiverr.com or any other similar site. It’s simply not worth losing whatever good rankings you may already have in search, to save a few bucks here and there.

SEO services to avoid on Fiverr

1. Automated Links

We all know that fact that Google still gives top priority to the backlinks. If your website is full of quality backlinks, you will get top search results for almost any keyword that you want to rank for. This is the reason why SEO professionals focus more on building backlinks in a natural way.

What users on Fiverr do is, they promise you to build automated links to increase your website rankings in the search results. Don’t fall for this trap as they use black hat SEO techniques or automated tools to build these links. So even if you get thousands of links just for $5, you will be penalized as Google holds a database of spam links.

You should not engage in anything automated when it comes to your site or blog, no matter the promise. Google frowns heavily on automated content and automated links and will penalize you accordingly including but not limited to lower rankings, no rankings or a complete de-indexing of your site. Search engines want (and reward) fresh content, natural links and transparency. So in all that you do when it concerns your blog, do it naturally and make it relevant.

2. 1,000 Backlinks Service Providers

These are the worst and am not sure how anyone takes these types of listings seriously. This is actually one of the worst things you can do to a site or blog, build links fast in large quantities. This is not natural for any site, especially new sites and you won’t get far with Google if you practice this sort of SEO. Instead build links slowly and take the time and effort that is required, and Google will reward you with good rankings.

Never EVER buy from the people on Fiverr who are offering you 1,000 backlink services to boost your search rankings. You will never see any increase in your search traffic even after getting 1,000 backlinks, besides your site gets penalized by Google penguin updates.

Google penguin update is majorly focused on penalizing the sites that have bad backlinks. So make sure you are writing high quality contents to build backlinks instead of depending on Fiverr SEO services to build links.

3. Guaranteed Google First Page Rankings

This is another cheap low cost SEO service you see a lot of on Fiverr. I can assure you there isn’t a member on Fiverr that can guarantee you first page rankings on Google, Yahoo, Bing or any other search engine on the planet. If you think someone on Fiverr is going to spend the required time and energy it takes to achieve a first page ranking on a good keyword term for only five bucks – keep dreaming.

You can never get Google first page rankings without excessive hard work, lots of quality backlinks, great website speed etc. If it happens so easily, then everyone would be building profitable websites. This simply is not possible and not true, stay away from these providers.

Your website search rankings improve only when you take care of using proper keywords on your blog articles, building backlinks relevant to your keywords, your domain age etc. Use evergreen link building strategies like guest posting, interviews, infographics etc. to build quality backlinks around your sites without getting penalized by Google updates.

4. Paid Footer Text Links

Footer links were popular some years back but since then have been devalued quite abit. I would not spend my money on a footer link on some dubious blog for five bucks, instead what I would do is write a guest blog post and submit it to a good, relevant and established blog. Footer links are a waste of your time and money.

There are many people (call them spammers) who are actively searching for websites to get footer links. They will come to you with a paid offer, basically what they do is, they pay you a little money and ask you to link to their websites from your footer. Please don’t consider these requests to earn peanuts, Google will penalize your sites if you do so.

Here’s a screenshot of how they request you for links from your websites (few people also do website link exchanges without consider the niche of your blog, don’t accept such requests).

The same thing happens on Fiverr SEO services too, as most people tell you they will give you backlinks from their footer sections to increase your rankings. But it won’t work if you are from another niche, also don’t spend your money getting irrelevant or spammy links.

When it comes to search engine optimization it’s best to err on the side of quality – each and every time. There are tried and true practices which have been proven to deliver good results, why not give these a try instead.

Disclaimer: As a long time user, I love Fiverr and the services it offers. We all look for better, fast and cheaper services to get things done online. So there’s another website that offers as good services as Fiverr. But don’t waste your money on SEO services which are mentioned about. Try to either invest on highly qualified SEO professional services to boost your rankings or do it by yourself.

In a nutshell about services to avoid on Fiverr

Fiverr is a fantastic website to outsource your services from freelance writing to making videos just for $5. But there are few people who falsely give promises to the users to get top search results. Don’t spend your money on buying the above mentioned SEO services on Fiverr and avoid them at all costs.

You don’t have to spend thousands of dollars to improve your search rankings though, you need to remember the fact that, Google gives top results to the sites that treat their website visitors well. So create highly relevant content, use guest posting, and create infographics to build quality backlinks the natural way.

When anybody make their website at that time he/she wants to see their site on first page in Google and no doubt in that you can achieve this position in google easily but for this you need to do some effort for your site and this is possible only by the tactics of SEO and we should try to get only organic links for our site.

I LOVE Fiver. But I can tell you from experience, that a lot of mistakes are to be made trying to use these shortcuts. At best they are a waste of money, at worse, they can take months of hard work to to recover from. Thanks for letting others know.

  6. Sanjib says:

How about ordering massive links to TIER 1 sites?
    Won’t it help?

    • Sanjib I would not recommend using fiverr for any form of link building activities. I really doubt people may be using or will start using fiverr kind of websites for building bad links for their competitor’s websites.

  7. I do agree with that all new bloggers and site owners wants to get top rank in search engine.
But it’s not easy to get high PR links easily but some bloggers do some black hat techniques which is not good. There are lot of people who sell bad links on fiverr as well.

  8. Dk Patel says:

Really, Every second person on fiverr selling this kind of service. What they do is just download some Software from Blackhat forum and Listed their gigs on fiverr site and who are newbie easily get trapped in that kind of stuff.

  9. Lisa says:

Love your tips! I agree with you. I talk to many bloggers who tell about these type of services on Fiverr and they think they are doing the right thing. Creating quality content, growing your social audience, and providing value are the best way to build a successful blog.
It takes time and patience, not using crazy services like you mentioned.
    Thanks again!

  10. Homework Writers says:

I agree with you. Anything worth top-ranking comes at a price; no short-cuts. While website owners should be careful to use the right channels towards getting top ranking, students need also to be careful when soliciting for academic writing services. Writing services that offer unbelievably low prices end up compromising the quality of assignments. You can save yourself the trouble of scoring low grades by contacting us. We offer quality services at reasonable rates!

  11. It’s great stuff. It certainly is. As a webmaster, I also keep getting many mails that promise of making it to the top of Google search results. I don’t say all are scams. But one should be careful. And this article highlights exactly that. 🙂

  12. Venkat says:

I was about to buy a gig with lots of positive reviews. You stopped me from doing that.

  13. Januar Sam says:

I do agree with you. If it is possible to rank better on SERP by adding thousands backlinks in a sbort time, why don’t they just making their blogs get horrayy on the top search engines. But they apparently diing that for just $5. It doesn’t make sense for manual linkbuilding.

  14. Shege says:

Don’t buy social media gigs promising thousands of followers especially twitter. They are mpstly fake profiles with little or no activity. Be warned!

    Thanks for the headsup. ?

  15. Maze says:

Hi, I agree with all your points, Except (Paid Footer Text Links). Google now didn’t look the footer links. But however buy 1link from unique root domain in the footer will help you ranking. May it will change on 2017 for Local or global SEO techniques. Some SEO companies still believes in footer links.

  16. I have used Fiverr for outsourcing graphics, video and audio, but never backlinks. These are all good things to avoid.

  17. Digital Marketing has Growing up and taking the edge over traditional marketing so online competition is increasing as well. I am facing some issues in online visibility that’s landed me here.
When it comes to using digital marketing to drive traffic to the business, I often hear people say “don’t give it away for free.” But I don’t necessarily agree with that philosophy.
I think that by providing quality services and products, Anyone can position themselves as an expert in their field, which invariably results in business.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and Services you help me a lot.
