What We Like About FastComet

The first thing we like the most about FastComet is their amazing customer support. They offer 24 by 7 support which means whenever you’re stuck with any technical issue, their solid customer support is there to help.

Their support representatives are quite friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in solving your queries which specifically makes them stand out.

And don’t just take our word for it. Whichever review platform you take, like Trustpilot or G2, you will see their customers genuinely praising their great support.

Now, another thing we were impressed with was its faster performance. With NVMe storage and CDN integration, you will have great performance. Plus, unlike other hosts, there are almost negligible downtime or loading speed issues.

Their control panel is also so easy to manage.

Now, they do use traditional cPanel which can feel a bit outdated in terms of design. But all the necessary buttons and controls like FileManager, FTP, Backup, etc. are available at a glance. So is it beginner-friendly? Absolutely.

What We Didn’t Like About FastComet

Now, even though FastComet stood well in most essential factors you’d consider while purchasing a hosting, there were indeed slight drawbacks.

First things first, their renewal rates are pretty high. And it would be great if the features you get were more value for money.

For instance, with their $3.59/month plus plan, you get only 30 GB of storage. But with Hostinger’s $2.99 plan, you get 100 GB SSD storage with free domain and SSL which is valuable.

One of the key things in running professional businesses or blogs is having a professional email service setup.

Most hosting providers offer this service for free with their hosting plans. And FastComet also does that, which is good.

But they’re missing out on properly optimized email server setup – resulting in delays or glitches in email sending or receiving sometimes.

Lastly, one more thing we found that could have been better was the resource allocation.

There is a slight limitation with their resource usage. But this is the situation with almost any shared hosting provider.

So for any high-traffic website, I would recommend going with a VPS web hosting (For example: ScalaHosting, LiquidWeb) or a cloud-based hosting provider (Like Cloudways).

But for beginner or low-to-medium traffic websites, FastComet is a good choice.
