Hi Anil, This is a great list to create a lots of backlinks using commenting. Some of them are in my radar all the time and few of them were new to me. But instead of using any tool for finding new blogs, I normally use google queries to find out related blogs. Keep posting such wonderful posts.

Yes, if you're leaving comments on other blogs make sure they are worth reading. Leaving long and thoughtful comments always help you and no one likes to delete them or mark as spam. Other best thing with long comments is that you get replies and also attention from other people including the blog owners which opens up door for you to guest post on their sites in the long run.

You should publish few contents on your blog at least before start building links for your domain. Because if you start building links from the day when you will have no content on your domain, it will leave bad impression on people who will be visiting your domain from the links that you are creating.

No, no one actually gives you dofollow links from their commenting section. Wherever you comment, it's obviously is a nofollow link but you shouldn't really care that part while commenting. You should do commenting for the sake of mixing up your backlink profile with dofollow and nofollow links and also to network with other bloggers. Hope it helps.

Hi Payal, actually you can leave comments on any of the above mentioned sites, as there's no thumb rule on what industry you're in to leave comments on a site. Although leaving comments on relevant sites help though, but you can also leave comments on other blogs with high DA as well.

Hi Kapil, yes, almost all the blogs that allow blog comments on their posts allow you nofollow links (and don't provide you dofollow links). In fact, the default WordPress system itself provides all the comments as nofollow. By commenting on other sites, you'll get nofollow links but they are great for balancing your overall backlink profile nicely. You should never build only one type links I.e either dofollow or nofollow.

I put too many ads on the site once upon a time and drove people away. Hi Manoj, yes that's true. There are so many blogs which are turning off comments or using other commenting systems like Disqus or not providing website URL links in the commenting field. It's actually getting too difficult for most people to find great blogs to comment on as there are so many blogs which are closing their comment section after 60 days.

My only suggestion is that, instead of trying to comment on a ton of blogs, make sure to create a list of few blogs (10 to 20) where you can frequently comment on their posts.

Hi Rosen, almost all the blogs which are on WordPress use nofollow links in the commenting system by default. You'll rarely find dofollow commenting sites and the purpose of doing blog commenting is to get nofollow links as they add nice balance to your backlink profile. It also helps you build relevant links easily.

Chhaya, avoid adding any link in the comment section and don't use any keyword in the Name field. Use your actual name in the Name field. Lot of people make the mistake of using their target keyword in the Name field.

I would like to point out that as I am going through the list and trying to leave comments that a few of the web sites don’t allow backlinks in comments anymore or use Disqus. For example, Yoast SEO Blog, Niel Patel, Online Tech Tips, and more

Being a beginner, blog commenting is one of the easiest ways to get backlinks.

You have listed a huge list of specific niche-based sites with their DA's and commenting on the higher DA sites will be an extra advantage.

I am into the blogging niche, will visit the related websites you mentioned above and will start appropriate commenting.

can i attach link of article in url section instead of homepage which i want to rank

You can use your article link in place of home page link in some of your comments. Approval rate can be bit less when you will be adding link for article pages. If you are fine with that, go ahead.

I would not recommend getting links from irrelevant websites. Why getting links from them when you know they are not related with your blog niche.

I really enjoyed reading the article that you posted before the list of places that I can comment on. I came to this site hoping that I would get a list of places that I could comment on for my business but I never knew that there was a system like Gravator to act as a sign in process.

I appreciate you taking the extra time to talk more about how to use the lists instead of just posting the list and leaving the people who are new to seo (like myself) to figure out the best approaches to use with them.

You mentioned in your post to ask a question when making a comment, but how would I know when the writer of the article responds? Is it best to continually circle back to the post to look for a response or do they typically email you notifying you of the response?

Using Gravatar is very convenient, it always displays profile picture besides my comments on many websites.

Absolutely, using keywords in the place of the name looks very spammy and less human.

Anil, I think you should update the list of these blogs as most of the blogs included under Blogging, Internet Marketing, Social Media Marketing blogs have either removed the comment section altogether or started using Disqus.

I've always struggled with link building because it's generally so time consuming and difficult. but blog commenting is probably one of the least time consuming ways to do it. Would you recommend guest posting and reaching out to influencers? It's always seemed like a mundane task to me to do all that!

This blog post is a keeper because of the great list you have combined here to visit those blogs. I am passionate about blog commenting. I've done so since I started my blog 10 years ago. Not only does it improve our SEO, commenting does so much for your blog. I've left comments along the way and people have joined readership on my blog just because they resonated with my comment. Also, with blog commenting we achieve the know, like and trust factor of others.

Comments must be a reflection of what we have just read on a person's blog. Leave at least a paragraph so you will make it on the comment section. Me, as well as many other bloggers won't approve a one line comment or a generic one that says something like "nice work." They are either newbies or worse...someone who is just looking for backlinks. I can't tell you how many people I don't approve every day because of this.

Hi Anil, This is something I had gotten away from but realized I needed to start up again to connect with other bloggers. It's not about just building backlinks but about connecting with others in your niche. So many older bloggers have left the industry. I'll be checking out the new ones on your list, thank you, Anil.
