Hostinger Reach Review: Currently Using it (Here’s My Take With Pros and Cons)

As a content creator, I have been using email marketing to promote eBooks, Courses, and a lot of other things.

I am being honest. So far, I am using a different tool for all my email marketing needs.

My Personal Experience With Hostinger Reach

I recently switched from my previous email marketing platform (Kit.com) to Hostinger Reach.

The biggest reasons?

Money and simplicity.

I’m a full-time blogger, and most of my income comes from affiliate marketing. 

Email marketing contributes only about 5% to my overall revenue. So I was looking for a tool that could meet my newsletter needs without burning a hole in my pocket.

Email marketing still has a lot of scope (In 2025, the marketer earns an average of $36 by spending a dollar)

I really like Kit.com, but as my subscribers grew (now over 3,000), the annual cost shot up to around $600, which felt way too expensive.

On the other hand, Reach offers me the features I need at a much more reasonable price (currently about $200 per year) for my subscriber count.

Another big plus is that I don’t need to hire email copywriters for my newsletters anymore. Hostinger Reach comes with an AI-powered email content generator, which is honestly pretty awesome.

I have prior experience using other Hostinger products, like web hosting, and my experience with the company has been good in the past as well.

So far, it is paying off with Hostinger Reach.

I’ve had a pretty good experience with Hostinger AI Powered email marketing service, but let’s be honest: no platform is flawless. There are definitely some ups and downs.

• Compared to others, they charge nothing for removing a “Hostinger” branding from the emails you sent to the users

Hostinger Reach Cons (Limitations):

• Advanced Automation and Segmentation are not supported yet. 
• Hostinger Reach is a relatively new tool, hence some advanced features are not available. However, a lot of features are in the development stage.
• You cannot duplicate the email campaign for now. Only the template can be reused.
• Phone support is absent.

These are the main pros and cons I’ve noticed from my experience. 

Even though the lack of advanced features hurt a bit when I switched from Kit, overall, I feel that I made the right choice.

The best part?

Hostinger Reach keeps getting better. They are rolling out new features every month and improving what’s already there at an impressive pace.

Here’s who I believe will benefit from using Reach email software:

1. Beginners and Creators with Small Lists

If you are starting a newsletter from scratch and do not want to spend money in the beginning, Hostinger Reach is a great option.

It allows you to build and grow your newsletter for free with support for up to 100 unique subscribers every month. This would be valid for a year.

Paid plans begin at $1.99 per month. At this rate, you won’t find any email marketing tool out there in the market.

Also, there are no technicalities or learning curves required to use the Hostinger Reach email marketing tool.

2. Creators considering a switch
There are plenty of content creators who are interested in moving to Hostinger Reach but are worried about losing their existing setup. 

From what I have seen, Reach makes migration simple for users coming from popular platforms, including Kit, GetResponse, ActiveCampaign, MailChimp, etc. If you handle a large list, you can also request direct support from the Reach team for a smooth transfer.

That being said, Hostinger Reach is not for everyone.

For example:

Creators who are looking for advanced segmentation, dripping, and built-in newsletter monetization options in their email marketing platform, then Hostinger Email service is currently not for them…

Yes, that’s a sad truth.

How you can get started with Hostinger Reach:

It took me some time to learn Reach features and functionality. However, I’m honestly satisfied with their powerful email marketing toolkit for content creators.

Let me show you how Hostinger Reach works and what I use it for.

As soon as you join Hostinger Reach, you’ll be redirected to the dashboard, where you can see your subscribers’ statistics and the overall performance of your email campaigns for the last 30 days.

Above, you can see the number of active subscribers on my Reach account — 999 subscribers. See, this is the main dashboard of Hostinger Reach Email Marketing service. 

Unlike other complex email marketing platforms, Reach has a very simple dashboard where all the features are neatly organized into just four tabs: Home, Campaigns, Contacts, and Templates.

I just forgot to mention that the average click rate of email campaigns sent through Hostinger Reach is 3.4% for the 1000 emails sent and the open rate was 22.2% so far. 

That is pretty good for beginner level email campaigns. (We will update the campaign click rates as data gets fetched.)

Overall, I use the Reach dashboard to quickly review my stats and the performance of my recent newsletters. 

If you are new to Reach and wonder how to start, I recommend the following steps:

• Free sign up to Hostinger Reach and access the dashboard
• Connect your domain (via DNS configuration)
• Add business details
• Set up the brand look
• Add email contacts
• Set up the first campaign for email marketing
• Set up an email template with AI
• Segment or choose your email recipient and send the email
• Track email campaign performance

Although I found these steps normal and easy to follow, you can always connect with the Hostinger Team through live chat for further assistance. (You might have to connect with them to enable Domain Connection).

Does it sound like a lot of work?

Not really!

I spent a single day moving my existing subscribers to Reach, creating newsletter templates, and setting up the automation.

Let me show you how to create an email campaign on Hostinger Reach.

Navigate to Hostinger Reach > Campaigns > Create Campaign.

You have to come up with the Subject, Sender’s name, and Sender’s email. The preview window shows what your reader’s inbox will look like.

Once you are done, hit “Continue.”

Now here’s where Hostinger’s main AI email marketing functionality comes in.

Rather than designing an email form manually, you can let AI do this task and save much time.

In the beginning, Hostinger Reach provides you with three AI email form prompts. You can either start with those or use the Hostinger Reach AI assistant to design your own email form from scratch.

I was excited to test Hostinger Reach AI capabilities, so instead of going with predefined prompts, I started with my custom AI email prompt.

As you can see above on the left, I supplied a prompt to Hostinger Reach to generate a newsletter email form template. 

I mentioned everything in the prompt according to my needs, including the headline, subheadline, CTA buttons, and design style.

In the image above, you can see on the right how my Hostinger Reach subscribe form looks in action. 

Overall, the Hostinger Reach AI Email Generator understood my prompt very well and included everything I wanted in the email form. 

In addition to that, the tool also gave me suggestions in the chat that could further enhance my eBook newsletter form. 

For example, it recommended adding a preview or cover image of the eBook to improve the visual appearance of the newsletter, which can help boost conversions.

Hostinger Reach created the above awesome email newsletter form in hardly 2-3 minutes. 😊

If you wonder, “How do I create a landing page on Reach?”

Well, the process is similar. All you have to do is supply a Landing page prompt, and it will do the rest.

I always take help from tools like ChatGPT to generate a prompt and supply it here.

See below, how amazingly Hostinger Reach did the job.

The great thing is that these generated Email campaign templates are fully editable, and you can easily use them on different email campaigns.

Previously with Kit.com I had to manually do design work from scratch, like choosing a perfect template, setting up a color scheme, layout adjustment, and more. 

But now these things don’t bother me anymore. 

However, one issue that troubled me the most was that I wasn’t able to embed these Hostinger Reach email generated templates into WordPress through shortcodes. (These functionalities are coming soon. Hoping so!)

But you can do this via the Hostinger Reach WordPress plugin.

Before sending emails, it will ask you to send a test email for testing deliverability.

I once sent 500 emails at once, but hopefully, I faced zero issues in email deliverability.

There is no way to segment your list. And Automation is also basic. 

You can schedule the timings of a particular email campaign, but you can’t enable automations. For example, If I want to send a “welcome email with a freebie” as soon as someone subscribes to my newsletter, then this is not possible in Reach yet.

Yes, that’s disappointing me the most.

Hostinger promised to release these features soon.

So for now, I have to manually select the contacts I want to send emails to at a particular time. I can schedule the timings of the email campaign, but for now, I am skipping it.

I believe Hostinger Reach is a fantastic newsletter platform for anyone launching an online business. 

It offers many essential features at no cost, allowing content creators to “try out” the platform before committing to a paid plan.

Plus, Hostinger Reach includes a range of features that can benefit both newcomers and experienced creators with large email lists.
