Hostinger Hosting Plans: Explained [The Business Plan Holds Maximum Value]

Premium, Business, and Cloud Startup are the most popular hosting plans of Hostinger.

The Business plan offers the most money-features value.

These three plans are available for both shared (normal web hosting) and WordPress hosting at the same price.

You can prefer WordPress hosting if you want to install WordPress on your website automatically.

1) The Hostinger Premium Web Hosting Plan:

The Premium Plan is one of the most popular choices for beginners who are starting a new website. It is budget-friendly and includes a free domain, a key highlight.

With this plan, you can host up to 25 websites on a single license, and it provides 25 GB SSD storage. It is best suited for new website owners with monthly traffic ranging from 0 to 10,000 visitors.

You can easily set up a website using this plan, whether it’s non-WordPress or WordPress CMS-based. Using WordPress CMS and WooCommerce, you can even create a small eCommerce store.

The Premium Plan offers standard-level performance. However, due to the lack of NVMe-based storage, the performance may seem slightly slower.

From personal experience and live testing, the average loading speed of the Premium Plan (with CDN and LiteSpeed enabled) is 2.014 seconds. While this speed is good, it is not the best.

premium plan performance results

The major downside I’ve faced with Hostinger’s Premium Plan is the lack of daily backups. As your site grows, having daily backups becomes crucial, but this feature is not included in this plan.

Avoid the Premium Plan if your top priority is high performance. Opt for it only if you are launching a new website and are uncertain about its success. Since it’s a low-risk option financially, it’s ideal for beginners.

If you’re planning to go for this plan, the 48-month tenure offers the most cost savings. You can always upgrade your plan during the tenure if required.

Here is the regular pricing vs renewal pricing of the Hostinger premium plan in various tenures:

Regular Pricing$2.99/mo (48 months)$2.99/mo (24 months)$2.99/mo (12 months)$11.99 (1 month)
Renewal Pricing$7.99/mo (48 months)$8.99/mo (24 months)$10.99/mo (12 months)$11.99 (1 month)
  • If you choose the Hostinger Premium Plan for a 48-month tenure, it will cost you $143.
  • If you opt for a 24-month tenure, the cost will be $71.76.
  • For a 12-month tenure, the total cost will be $35.88.

You will achieve maximum savings with the 48-month tenure. After your tenure ends, the renewal cost will be $7.99/month.

Therefore, the longer the plan you initially purchase, the more you save on renewal costs each month.

2) The Hostinger Business Plan:

Here comes the most money value plan of Hostinger – The Business plan. The key highlight of this plan is high performance.

In the Business plan, you get the option to install up to 50 websites and receive 100 GB NVMe storage space. Most websites (blogs/eCommerce) in the growing stage prefer the Business plan.

Compared to the Premium plan, your site will experience a 5x boost in loading speed. If your site receives traffic between 10k to 50k monthly, you can consider this plan.

Upon closer examination, you’ll notice that the two main reasons for the improved performance in the Hostinger Business plan are:

Extra PHP workers: This means your hosting server can process more requests simultaneously. In simple terms, your server can handle more background tasks, ensuring that page elements load faster.

NVMe storage drives: NVMe drives offer higher reading and writing speeds, significantly boosting performance. These drives are available in the Business plan and higher-tier plans.

Another great feature of the Business plan is its built-in eCommerce support. You can accept payments for your eCommerce store without needing to set up any additional payment forms.

Overall, only avoid the Business plan if you require extra storage. Otherwise, in terms of both cost and features, the Business plan is an excellent option for websites with up to 50k monthly traffic.

Here is the regular pricing vs renewal pricing of the Hostinger Business plan in various tenures:

Regular Pricing$3.99/mo (48 months)$3.99/mo (24 months)$3.99/mo (12 months)$13.99 (1 month)
Renewal Pricing$8.99/mo (48 months)$9.99/mo (24 months)$13.99/mo (12 months)$13.99 (1 month)
  • If you choose the Hostinger Business Plan for a 48-month tenure, it will cost you $191.52.
  • If you opt for a 24-month tenure, the cost will be $95.76.
  • For a 12-month tenure, the total cost will be $47.88.

3) The Hostinger Cloud Startup Plan:

Here comes the most performance-oriented plan: The Cloud Startup Plan. The key highlights of this plan are top-level customer support responses and the advantage of having a dedicated IP address for the server.

In the Cloud startup plan, you get the option to install up to 100 websites and receive 100 GB of NVMe storage space

Most websites with higher traffic (more than 50k/month) prefer the Cloud Startup plan.

Before finalizing your purchase, make sure to apply the Hostinger discount codes to save extra on Shared, VPS, and Cloud hosting plans.

Here, not only is the pricing doubled, but you also get 100 PHP workers and 10 times the extra performance.

Priority customer support is crucial for large websites, as issues such as crashes and hacking are common.

While you still won’t get phone support even after paying a higher price (which is Hostinger’s biggest drawback), they do offer live chat support within 1-2 minutes under priority support, which is highly efficient.

You also get an additional security advantage with this plan. A dedicated IP ensures your website is protected from security issues caused by other sites sharing the same server.

There is no reason to avoid this plan. If your needs align with it, go for it and enjoy top-notch performance.

Other web hosting services do not offer such high performance at this price point, making the Cloud Startup plan an excellent choice.

Here is the regular pricing vs renewal pricing of Hostinger Cloud Startup plan in various tenures:

Regular Pricing$7.99/mo (48 months)$8.99/mo (24 months)$9.99/mo (12 months)$27.99 (1 month)
Renewal Pricing$19.99/mo (48 months)$22.99/mo (24 months)$25.99/mo (12 months)$27.99 (1 month)
  • If you choose the Hostinger Cloud Startup Plan for a 48-month tenure, it will cost you $383.52.
  • If you opt for a 24-month tenure, the cost will be $215.76.
  • For a 12-month tenure, the total cost will be $119.88.

So this is how Hostinger’s pricing is structured into three standard plans.

If your site is even larger, Hostinger also offers additional plans that are more advanced than the Cloud Startup plan.

Hostinger VPS Pricing:

Those who prioritize performance usually opt for Hostinger VPS plans. I found them to be cheaper than Cloud plans, yet still managed to offer a similar level of performance.

If you have a growing blog with 50K+ monthly visitors, an online store with lots of plugins, or a gaming app needing custom server settings, you can consider Hostinger VPS Plans. They are a little bit challenging to manage, but not impossible.

Hostinger offers 4 VPS plans with the following key features:

FeaturesKVM1KVM2KVM4KVM8
CPU Power1v2v4v8v
RAM4 GB8 GB16 GB32 GB
Storage50 GB NVMe100 GB NVMe200 GB NVMe400 GB NVMe
Bandwidth4 TB8 TB16 TB32 TB
Pricing$4.99/month$6.99/month$9.99/month$19.99/month

This is my observation on Hostinger VPS pricing plans:

  • The KVM1 Plan can work for beginner sites, as it offers 50 GB of storage. However, I still feel that the computing power (1v CPU, 4 GB RAM) is too low. I guess you should only prefer it when the budget is too tight.
  • The KVM2 Plan offers the perfect balance of cost, features, and value. It can easily handle medium-sized site traffic (up to 50,000 monthly visitors). With 8 TB bandwidth, your server resources won’t get exhausted easily, and the 8 GB RAM meets the minimum requirement for most websites.
  • KVM4 and KVM8 plans are ideal when the budget is not a constraint and monthly site traffic hits exceed 100,000.

Hostinger Cloud Pricing:

Hostinger Cloud Plans are for those who want zero technical maintenance, high performance, and a vast scope in scalability. Hostinger VPS plans are generally well-suited for overall scalability, but they can be challenging to manage. That problem is now solved here. However, these Cloud plans are costly and may become even more expensive at renewal.

Hostinger offers 4 VPS plans with the following key features:

FeaturesCloud StartupCloud ProfessionalCloud Enterprise
CPU Power2v4v6v
RAM3 GB6 GB12 GB
Storage100 GB NVMe200 GB NVMe300 GB NVMe
BandwidthUnlimitedUnlimitedUnlimited
Websites100100100
PHP Workers100200300
Pricing$7.99/month$15.99/month$29.99/month

The Hostinger cloud plans are ideal for eCommerce stores that experience sudden traffic spikes at any time. The unlimited bandwidth doesn’t restrict your Hostinger server from scaling and offers you extra resources at any time.

They are also ideal for websites where uptime is the top priority. For instance, booking sites can’t afford even a second of downtime. Thankfully, even if a server fails, being in a cloud environment means your site will stay live by automatically shifting to another cloud cluster.

This is my observation on Hostinger Cloud pricing plans:

  • Cloud startup plan (3 GB RAM) seems reasonably priced and suits most of the sites that are looking to enter a cloud-hosting world
  • All plans are fully managed, which means zero technical issues
  • Opting for a long tenure is the only option to save ultra-high renewal costs.

Hostinger Domain Pricing:

Well, you already get 1 year of free domain registration with the Premium, Business, and Cloud Startup plans.

Hostinger Domain Pricing

However, if you only want to register a new domain (without hosting) on Hostinger, that’s also possible.

Hostinger offers new domains starting at $0.99/year, depending entirely on the Domain TLDs you are interested in. The free WHOIS privacy is also attached (saves you $9.99/year)

Quick Note: Don’t forget to use “BPDOMAIN” to get an extra 10% OFF on a Domain purchase.

Below is the general Domain Registration pricing on Hostinger. They support 50+ TLDs but these are the popular ones:

TLDsPricing
.Com$9.99/yr
.Online$1.99/yr
.Shop$0.99/yr
.Pro$2.99/yr
.net$14.99/yr
.xyz$1.99/yr

(Please recheck on the Hostinger domain price as it may vary in real time.)

Instead of registering a new domain, If you want to transfer your domain from another host to Hostinger, you can do that free of cost as well.

Final Words: Which Hostinger Plan is Best Overall?

If you’re just starting out, the Hostinger Business Plan is the best all-around option. It’s affordable, powerful, and comes with everything needed to run blogs, small business sites, or even online stores. Beginners on a tighter budget can also start with the Premium Plan, which still includes solid features and a free domain for the first year.

For users who require more power and control, VPS Hosting is a great option, while businesses expecting higher traffic can opt for Cloud Hosting for improved scalability and performance.

In short:

Use Code: BLOGWITHBP for 10% extra savings at checkout – Applicable to all Hostinger plans.
