The first step is to find blogs in your niche that accept blog comments. Relevancy is quite important. Don’t ignore relevancy. We have listed some high quality blogs with their Domain Authority (DA) where you can do blog commenting for your specific niche.

How to do blog commenting?

First, make an account on Gravatar. It’s free.This will show your avatar (profile picture) on all comments where you use the email for making an account on Gravatar.
Make sure the blog has a DA (Domain Authority) of more than 30+. There is no hard and fast rule, but a higher DA has its own advantages. You can use the Mozbar to check the DA of the site. We have mentioned the DA of each blog below for your reference.

What to avoid if doing blog commenting for traffic & backlinks in 2023:

It is recommended to avoid blogs that use Disqus and Facebook Comments. Neither will you get a link back but you will also miss on some juicy referral traffic. People integrate these to avoid spam.

After you have found a nice blog to comment on, choose a post to comment on. Make sure you read the blog post once before doing commenting.

  Hi Main, it doesn’t matter what niche you are in, blog commenting only helps and it has no negative impact on your rankings unless you’re commenting on spammy sites. So make sure to find and use the above high DA sites where you can easily use your own site links while commenting. Make sure to leave thoughtful comments instead of leaving one liners.

  Hi Nihal, we’ll try our best to provide such fashion blogs to comment on as well. But as I said before, there are so many blogs which are not using the WordPress default commenting system. That said, you can comment on any industry blog but make sure to use your home page links while commenting.

  Hi Manoj, yes that’s true. There are so many blogs which are turning off comments or using other commenting systems like Disqus or not providing website URL links in the commenting field. It’s actually getting too difficult for most people to find great blogs to comment on as there are so many blogs which are closing their comment section after 60 days.
  
  My only suggestion is that, instead of trying to comment on a ton of blogs, make sure to create a list of few blogs (10 to 20) where you can frequently comment on their posts.

I made tons of mistakes starting out and content marketing. I wrote very few sentences and publish that as a blog post or webpage. I put too many ads on the site once upon a time and drove people away. I would post a video or either at image with one sentence sometimes and thought that would get me tons of traffic from Google and Yahoo. I was wrong!   Hi Kapil, yes, almost all the blogs that allow blog comments on their posts allow you nofollow links (and don’t provide you dofollow links). In fact, the default WordPress system itself provides all the comments as nofollow. By commenting on other sites, you’ll get nofollow links but they are great for balancing your overall backlink profile nicely. You should never build only one type links I.e either dofollow or nofollow.
