What is an affiliate program?
Affiliate marketing is where you promote a product or service you didn’t create. If anyone makes a purchase of that product or service through your affiliate or referral link, you make a commission. The commission you earn depends entirely on the products or services that you recommend.
If you’re smart enough, you can literally make thousands of dollars from affiliate marketing.
As you can see above, we earned over $430,000 just from ONE affiliate product. Isn’t it awesome?
Hands down, affiliate marketing is the best method for travel bloggers (or those who run travel affiliate sites) to earn passive income online. That being said, finding the best travel affiliate products is NOT easy.

Let’s now talk about one of the interesting things about travel affiliates, which is promoting white label programs to earn more money as a travel blogger.
Best Practices to Increase Affiliate Commission in the Travel Industry
Here are some of the best practices for travel bloggers to use the best affiliate websites to earn more money through affiliate marketing.
1. Always use affiliate link disclosures
One of the best ways to earn more commissions as a travel affiliate is to build trust among your website audience and readers. Once the trust is built, it’s easy for you to convince them to buy stuff from you.
Here’s where you can always mention “affiliate disclosures” whenever you’re using affiliate links within your blog posts or pages. That way your audience will know that you’re promoting affiliate products and they may even want to help you by buying through your affiliate links.
Moreover not disclosing your affiliate links or using too many affiliate links within a single page can look spammy and can annoy your website audience.
Here’s a great video by Pat Flynn about affiliate marketing.
2. Start using white label travel affiliate programs
If you’re running a travel website or agency and looking to promote white label travel affiliate programs, this list is just for you.
What are white-label products?
White-label simply means unbranded. That means white label products are unbranded products.
To simply put, white label products are manufactured by one company and packaged and sold by other companies under various brand names.
Why are they beneficial?
White label products give you permission to promote their products as your own (so you can rebrand them and sell them with your own brand name without any glitches).
- You can sell these products with your own brand or website name
- You can sell them at any cost or commission
- Huge profits, less investment
- Great brand awareness and so on
Here’s a list of some of the best white label travel affiliate websites you can use to make more commissions through your travel sites in 2023.
- Travel Payouts
- Flight Less
- Cheap Flights

Hi Anil, very helpful article indeed! Thank you for the effort!
I’ve been blogging in the travel niche for the last 1 year yet couldn’t find a succesfull model to attract readers.. I’m still trying to grow my visitor numbers.
I believe once I reach a certain limit, I should start exploring these affiliate programs as well. Do you have a suggested trashold for visitor numbers to start integrating affiliate programs? Or should we use them since the beginning and it helps our domain authority?
Being into blogging niche I am aware of some hosting and blogging tools affiliate programs.
And I never thought about other niches. Day by day getting to know more about other niches and how can we monetize these niche as well.

My best affiliates are Booking.com and Rentalcars Connect. With Amazon I had no clicks or commissions, Awin was a fiasco so I will not use it to sign up to Lonely Planet.
Hi Austin, glad to know that you’re already happy with Booking affiliate, definitely one of the widely used travel affiliate programs. You can also try Amazon few more times but make sure to use and promote those travel related products which are genuinely helpful to your target audience. You can also use website tracking tools like Crazy Egg to find out how your visitors are behaving on your site.
I have been in the travel industry since 2009. Although I have been operating my business for 8 year I just recently started an affiliate program. I provide a personalized training service – Fit For Trips – to physically prepare travelers for their active travel trips. Would you mind publishing as a niche alternative with high revenue potential for a fee? Because it’s a service business I can control my overhead and pay high referral fees. Here is the affiliate info page https://fitfortrips.com/fit-for-trips-affiliate-program/ . Or, perhaps you are willing to charge me a consulting fee to discuss making my program attractive to affiliate marketers and how to get it in front of them?
Hi and thanks for this article.
I find it because i wait payment from Booking.com from July, have a problem and they tell me than they’ll pay end of August, but nothing, then they tell me end of September, but nothing, now i think they will never pay me then i try to find another and HONEST hotel affiliate program.
Hi Pierre, sad to hear about your story. You might want to check with their affiliate manager or raise a complaint using their email (or spread the word about it on social media) if you’re still facing the issues.
I have been looking for something like this because I want to create a travel blog and I am looking for affiliate programs to use and this come through, it was exactly what I wanted
That’s great, travel blogs help you make money even while you travel.
Thanks for your reviews. I heard that Hotelscombined had stopped their white label. Is it real Anil Agarwal?
Haven’t heard about Hotelscombined had stopped their white label Tuan. You might want to give a try to the above alternatives and let me know if you’ve any more questions.
I am an Associate on Amazon Anil but have done so little compared to the other folks out there. Been selling my eBooks and audio books mainly. But your post opened my eyes to the tons of opportunities arising for bloggers in the travel niche, as countless products exist for us. Super sweet deal. Definitely gotta hop on board going forward, with my travel themed posts.
True that Ryan. We often think we are making decent enough but when we compared to what others are making, we feel pity. Thanks for the comment.
That’s a definitive list. Thanks Anil for sharing!
Actually, I was looking for a similar resource on travel affiliate programs.
I have just launched a travel niche site. And the list is very helpful for me at this point. And I do agree with you; travel is a profitable niche with growing customers base each year.
