1. Is Moz free?
Yes, you can download Free MozBar which is an all-in-one SEO toolbar that gives you instant metrics (PA, DA, Links, Spam Score) about any website while visiting or even in SERP.
2. How can I get Moz Pro for free?
You can access Moz Pro for free with their 30 days free trial and this can be canceled anytime.
3. What is the best alternative to Moz Pro?
SEMrush. If you are looking for the best alternative to Moz Pro it would be SEMrush. As at the price of Moz ($99.99) you can track 500 keywords as compared to 300 keywords.
Moreover, you will be able to create 5 projects at a time and along with that, you are allowed to track 3000 reports per day.
4. Which is the cheap and best alternative to Moz Pro?
For me, the cheap and best alternative to Moz Pro is Serpstat. It is a complete SEO toolkit with a ton of features included priced at $69/mo which is much less as compared to Moz Pro.
5. Which is the best free SEO tool?
If you’re looking for a free SEO tool, I would highly recommend you to go with Ubersuggest.

I am using Ahrefs but it is not cheap. Thanks for suggesting some tools for SEO.
I am also using this tool for super SEO.
Here is the combination,
Keyword Research + competition = SEMRush + Keyword Revealer
Backlink = Ahref
By the way, thank you!
which on eyou suggest , ahref or semrush based on your experince?
Hi Mahesh, I would say both of them are great but I mostly used (and still using SEMrush) and I found it really effective. That being said, lately I’m hearing a lot of great stuff about Ahrefs. So I’d suggest you to give a try to both of their trial versions to see which one you’re comfortable mostly with.
I love reading this blog, thank you for providing detailed, up-to-date analysis on all the latest digital marketing tools and techniques.
I have been using SEMRush as well, but many SEO experts, like you, say they are into Ahrefs. I also agree with your comment that Google Keyword Research Tool is not the most precise keyword analysis tool. I believe that it is limited, but I guess that is how premium keyword tools sell, otherwise who would go for premium if Google itself is already top quality and free right?
I have been using SEMRush from last 4 months and its really great. May be the best alternative to ahrefs.
Thanks for the detailed list by the way. 🙂
Hi Raj, glad to know that you’re using SEMrush, yea it’s a great tool that helps you find keywords, analyse your competitors and perform site audits. We’ve been using for over 3 years now and it works like a charm and as you said, it’s a great alternative to Ahrefs.
Ahrefs is powerful, but not cheap.
Also there are many free or freemium keywords research tool to use.
For example, K-meta keyword research tool or Serpstat
Hi Anita, yes, Ahrefs is great but it is expensive just like any other paid SEO tool like SEMrush or Moz or anything else. The reason they are bit expensive because they spend a ton of money on their databases as they often update the whole web to give you accurate results about keyword metrics and link metrics.
I have always used majestic seo as it has the best view of your link ratio and competitors profiles and i can do a lot of these checks using the free version.
Ahrefs is similar and my 2nd favourite
Im just about to purchase one fully but not sure yet and seems expensive, it may have been a good idea to include in your post which one you favour and for what reason and then add an affiliate link 🙂
Dean my favourite Moz alternative is SEMrush. I’m a big fan of this SEO tool. I have been using it on daily basis for more than 2 years now. Apart from SEMrush, my favourite SEO tool is Ahref.
I am a big fan of Semrush and use them to improve my blog SEO score. However i have also tried ahrefs and found them very good. Thanks for this article.
I too am a big fan of SEMrush Vishwajeet, it really helps you with everything from keyword research to competitor analysis. If you’re looking to boost your sales and traffic, you should definitely go with it. If you want to know more about the tool, you can read: https://bloggerspassion.com/unbiased-semrush-review/ as it has all the features and details you need to get a better idea about it. You’ll also get a 14 days free trial link within the post.
Hey this is a really good list. A couple I didn’t even know about, such as Web CEO and RankTracker.
I would also suggest Google Keyword Planner tool. 100% Free for the keyword research part of it! Maybe not quite a Moz Alternative though.
Thanks again – Eric
Hi Eric, as you said, Google Keyword Planner tool is completely free but it won’t give you accurate data as other premium tools provide you such as SEMrush. If you’re looking to understand search trends, this keyword planner tool is not the tool for you. Whether you know it or not, search engines like Google averages the last 12 months of search volume to deliver the “average monthly searches” data but the tool doesn’t provide you accurate estimate.
