Never thought about how classified ads would work for SEO. I’m not sure if it would be very effective though. Might as well try!
Like any other low quality SEO links classified ads does not contain much SEO value. I’d like to participate on active forums because the forum signature may not have much value but the referral traffic has higher impact than classified ads.

These day not only olx or quikr is there, a large no of classifieds site are there which allows you to put your ad without any cost. Classifieds will show results only if used properly. Make it creative, write it properly, put a snapshot of your website or blog etc.
